This self-paced online orientation package is designed for workers who are new to youth AOD work. It includes an overview of key terminology, state and federal policies, practice approaches and information on key tools and resources. We'd love to get your feedback or suggestions to improve the package, so if you have any ideas, let us know!

ORGANISATION
Dovetail can provide training and professional development events for workers, services and communities across Queensland on a range of topics related to youth alcohol and drug use. As we are a small team we may not be able to meet all training requests received from across the state. However we are always happy to assist workers and services with finding and accessing alternative professional development options.
Where possible, training should:
- be developed in collaboration with a range of stakeholders
- be open to a broad and diverse range of workers from various agencies
- showcase local knowledge, skills and speakers so as to capitalise on existing, networks and practice wisdom in your community
- facilitate enhanced connections between local agencies
- enable collaborative future planning
- address a local professional development need
