DOVETAIL LAUNCHES "A FRAMEWORK FOR YOUTH ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG PRACTICE"
We are very excited to announce the launch the first of the Dovetail Good Practice Guides, "A Framework for Youth Alcohol and Other Drug Practice". This guide contains information on the context of alcohol and other drug use, conceptualisations of young people, practice approaches, and understanding our own values and beliefs. This is the first in a series of six guides, with the others to follow in the coming weeks and months. The other guides still in development include the following:
- Legal and Ethical Dimensions of Practice
- Practice Strategies and Interventions
- Engagement and Outreach
- Working with Families and Significant Others
- Improving Services and Service Systems
There are limited numbers of free copies of "A Framework for Youth Alcohol and Other Drug Practice" available for distribution throughout Queensland.
