Dr Phil Crane and Ms Jenny Kaighin from the Social Work and Human Services program at the Queensland University of Technology Faculty of Health, have been engaged as consultants. The SPIT development process will take place over a six month process and will be collaborative at a number of levels. The Dovetail Project team, the Consortium, and service providers (especially the Icebreaker services) are key informants of the development process. The role of the QUT consultants is to provide a supportive process whereby appropriate tools are identified, developed and initially trialled.
Step 1: Draft SPIT Discussion Paper
This has been completed and is available on the Dovetail web site.
Step 2: Identification of tools to be developed
This involves a series of consultations with Icebreaker services, the Consortium and the field more broadly
Step 3: Development of 6 tools using PAR
In collaboration with QUT 6 Icebreaker services (or pairs) lead the development of one of the identified tools using the PAR process.
Step 4: Finalisation of tools
Tools will be trialled by services and refined as needed.
